Fifteenth Annual Fund-Raising Party

August 6th is the new date for the Shelby American Collection party - so come out and enjoy the summer weather. The theme of this year's party is the Cobra - Ferrari Wars, the epic battle of wills between Carroll Shelby and Enzo Ferrari that culminated in Shelby American winning the 1965 World Sportscar Manufacturers Championship.
In addition to the museum's unmatched collection of Cobras, GT40s and the original Shelby Mustangs, we will have an outdoor car show featuring cars from Cobra - Ferrari Wars era and other unique vintage cars. Our special guests include F.I.A. World Manufacturers Champion drivers Bob Bondurant, Jack Sears and other famous Shelby American Team members who contributed to the history surrounding the Cobra-Ferrari Wars of the 1960s.
This year the party will feature:
• Shelby American Team members will talk about the inside stories of the Cobra-Ferrari Wars
• Free autograph session with members of the Shelby American Team
• Silent auction of unique Shelby memorabilia and other exciting items
• Unique vintage car show outside the museum
• Live band playing 60's music
• Outdoor barbecue
• Open bar featuring wine, beer and Coyote Gold Margaritas
• Special parking areas to show off your own Shelby automobile or collector car
• Free collector's poster commemorating the Cobra-Ferrari Wars
The schedule for the event is:
• 4pm – doors open
• 6pm – Shelby American Team members talk about the Cobra - Ferrari Wars
• 7pm to 8pm – autograph session with Shelby American Team members
• 8:30pm – silent auction closes
• 4pm to 9pm – outdoor vintage car show
• 4pm to 9pm – live 60s music
• 9pm – event close
Please note - the August event takes the place of our December Holiday event.
This is the only party we will have this year so get your tickets now!
The Shelby American Collection is a non-profit, volunteer organization. $50.00 of your ticket price is tax deductible. All funds from this event go to supporting the operation of the Shelby American Collection museum in Boulder Colorado.
