Owner: George Stauffer 1046 was shipped to Shelby American 1/17/66. It was finished in black with silver stripes for LeMans in 1966. In 1967 prior to Daytona the car was changed to the new MK II B specs which included a roll bar, different front and rear clips,and a modified interior along with a host of other changes, it was painted silver with black stripes. After Daytona the car was shipped to Holman Moody for storage. 1046 was returned to the United States from Belgium by George Stauffer in 1983. Race History:
