Owner: Larry Miller
1015 was shipped to Shelby American 9/11/65. It was finished in White with blue sill stripes
and a black nose for Daytona in '66. After the win at Daytona the car was painted light blue
with white stripes and day-glo red I.D. patches for LeMans.
* Miles/Hulme would have won LeMans 1966 if not for Fords desire for a photo finish.
This resulted in a McLaren/Amon victory. Based on the fact that McLaren/Amon started
farther back on the grid, it had covered a greater distance during the 24 hours.
Due to this strange finish Miles was robbed of a Sebring, Daytona, LeMans sweep in 1966.
