0213. G.T.500. Completed 01/04/67 and shipped 01/08/67 to McCafferty Ford in Trenton, NJ. Purchased 02/24/67 by original owner Edward Milkos (New Brunswick, NJ). Milkos ordered this car as a red unit on 10/26/67 with a $20.00 deposit. Milkos was most suprised when the car arrived at the dealership as a dark nightmist blue car. The Shelby dealer attempted to re-order, from Shelby, a red car, but to no avail. After a few weeks an exasperated Milkos decided (on 02/24/67) to pay for and take possession of this car as it was most appearant he was not getting another one in the color he ordered. Milkos traded in a 1965 Pontiac GTO 3x2 bbl car and Milkos also bought (at the same time from the Shelby/Ford dealership) a demo 1965 Ford Ctry. Sq. Wagon to tow his new Shelby to and from the racetrack with. Over the next four year Milkos raced the Shelby at the new (then) Trenton Dragstrip and always did quite well. In 1969 Milkos (a carpenter by trade) fell thru a plate-glass window and severely damaged his arm. The car was then put into his basement garage (which doubled as his downstairs kitchen) with 9,000 miles on the car in 1970. The car remained there until Stephen G. Becker, LLC (Atlanta, GA) purchased the car, from Milkos on 08/13/04. The car still has the original tires, original paint and all original paperwork (including receipts and temporary and final NJ title from 1967 in the glove box) original motor, transmission, tires and shocks!!

The car was enclosed and trailered back to Atlanta, Georgia (on 08/14/04) and is now running and driving on the same tires that it left the factory with.
